First spotted by Cricket legend Dennis Lillee as a 17-year-old, Mitchell Johnson is known as one of the most brutal fast bowlers to ever play the game. With over 300 test wickets and 239 ODI wickets to his name, Johnson is one of Australia’s fast bowling greats. The left-arm quick delivered his most devastating performance in the 2013-14 Ashes Series where he took 37 wickets at 13.97 and cemented his position as one of the ten fastest bowlers ever, recording his fastest delivery at 156.8km/h.
Johnson twice won the ICC Cricketer of the Year award as well as the ICC test player of the year and an Allan Border Medal. After retiring from international cricket in 2015, Johnson now plays his Cricket for Kings X1 Punjab in the Indian Premier League and the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash.
